| Most people who visit Yosemite National Park only get to see the "valley". This is where Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, etc is. It's a beautiful area, but I prefer the eastern-end of the park. This image was taken near Tioga Pass in eastern Yosemite. If you drive from the valley eastward, you will climb in altitude continuously until you get to Tioga Pass which is at about 9,960 feet. The meadows and highlands in this area are beautiful. |
