| This "hill of sand" has two distinguishing
characteristics - the yucca at the top and the "den" of some
nocturnal animal. To me, it identifies the life forms at White Sands
- nocturnal animals and desert vegetation.
Although I didn't realize it when I took this, when I view the slide under magnification, I can see that there is something in the hole, but I can't determine what (it may be a twig or it may be an inhabitant). |
