Mountain Goat Page

There are several salt licks along the Icefields Parkway south of Jasper, Alberta, Canada where mountain goats collect. June is early spring in that part of the world and many of the animals we saw were with young.

This Mountain Goat was sitting on a ledge about 15 feet above the Icefields Parkway in Alberta, Canada.  The fact that a number of people were gawking at him didn't seem to phase him.
