California Lake

This reservoir was in Moccasin, California, between San Francisco and Yosemite National Park. The "El Nino" rains of 1998 were upon us (it seemed to rain every afternoon) and during the transition between sunny and stormy, the light and clouds were just right. The turning boat added perspective to the scene.

Up until December, 2000 I didn't know the name of this body of water. Thanks to Guy Tal (http://spyra.com/guy) for identifying it as "Don Pedro Reservoir".
