Everglades Dawn

This was taken in Everglades National Park (near Royal Palm) at dawn.

We were staying in Homestead, Florida and got up before dawn to drive the 10 miles or so to this spot. You never know what you're going to get at dawn! It's not like dusk, when you can "see" the sky. Before dawn, you "hope" it's going to be a nice sunrise.

Although it looks like a tranquil scene, there was a bunch of VERY loud crows very close to us. I don't think they liked the "intrusion".
